Responsibilities
The Operations Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for ensuring Société Générale meets its regulatory obligation for key non-financial regulatory reports.
- Post Trade Transaction and Position report production and submission
- Monitoring of Report submission schedule and status
- Report related Exceptions/Issue investigation and tracking
- Regulatory Inquiry/Notification handling and tracking
- Report Automation and Remediation
- Risk Control e.g., Monitor and manage internal & external changes, engage on APAC REG Governance
Other requirements
- Develop professional knowledge in regulatory requirements and data source systems
- Build relationships with IT, other Operations teams, Compliance, Project team, Front Office
- Work closely with APAC REG Project and IT teams
- Identify and propose improvements needs in processes and control
- Involve in the longer-term strategic development in reporting area
- Ensuring and adhere to Regulatory rules and internal Policy
- Monitor and escalate risk when identified
- Ensure you read and understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Conduct and corresponding regulations.
Profile required
Experience & Knowledge
- Native level Japanese (to review Japanese Regulatory requirement and regulations written in Japanese legal terms and to handle Regulator inquiry calls)
- Business level English
- At least one Product knowledge; Cash Equity, Bond, OTC and Listed Derivatives
- Detail oriented/Strict time management/Swiftness /Self-starter
- Strong on numerical and data analysis
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Transaction volume reporting experience (better to have)
- Have team-working spirit and good communication skills

Objectives of the GBTO/MAR/REG Production role:
You will be responsible for report production, submission, status monitoring, issue investigation and change management handling. Require paying continuous efforts to maintain best practice on production process, seek for further improvements is a key element of the role. At Project such as internal and external change management, report automation requires data analysis skills and methodologies to interpretate system data into regulatory report requirements.
