Responsibilities
Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:
Handle clients’ daily flows, auction participation and BOJ related operations, while understanding each potential constraint and risks relevant to the activity and the positioning of the trading books.
Help mitigate settlement risks inherited to the financing activities, with OPER collaboration.
Respect risk and credit limits, and correct overshoots in a timely manner.
Discuss with management prudential risk limits.
Raise any issue or potential risk to management.
Profile required
Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:
- Trader
- Good knowledge of financial markets and technical expertise on Fixed Income products
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English and in Japanese
- Good knowledge of the overall/specific Back Office/Frong Office /Middle Office environment and workflows
Qualifications
- JSDA (Japan Securities Dealers Association) Licence
- 2nd Class Securities Sales Representatives
- 1st Class Securities Sales Representatives
- Knowledge of finance, legal, and finance is essential

Primary Objective
Manage the Short Term JGB market making activity of Tokyo financing desk with a high degree of independence within risk limitations.
Promote the development of Govies financing activities, internally and externally.
