Risk & Compliance Second Level Controller
Responsibilities
Are you passionate about improving things that matter? Do you want to join a dynamic team? As a second level Controller, you independently assess controls implemented by the business to protect against various risks.
Responsibilities:
Interact with stakeholders to understand and assess the effectiveness of the control framework; test the control framework (procedures, processes, controls, committees, KPIs, etc), and issue recommendations to strengthen the controls (improve risk coverage and/or efficiency).
Maintain close relationship with those responsible for implementing the recommendations, to ensure that they are implemented fully and within the agreed timeframe.
Contribute to the animation of the team of second level controllers in its area of expertise.
Participate in the definition, with a risk-based approach, of the second level control plan.
Travel within the entities is to be expected (on average 3-5 days per quarter).
Profile required
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance/ Compliance/ Risk Management or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in leasing or banking, including at least 3 years in managing a risk important for Ayvens business, or in an audit/permanent control function.
Good understanding of the role of internal control in managing risks.
Fluent English, written and oral (the working language is English), another language is a plus.

You are recognized for your analytical skills and ability to highlight priority issues.
Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently while ensuring a good level of transparency.
Open-mindedness and ease of working in an international environment.
Excellent communication (oral and written) by knowing how to adapt yourself to interlocutors of all levels including the General/Executive Management of the entities.
Experience in working with data analytics is a plus.
