Risk Software Developer

• Provide hands-on production support for front-office risk and PnL applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues impacting trading and daily operations. 
• Investigate production incidents end to end, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes to improve platform stability. 
• Develop and enhance risk and PnL tools and services supporting the fixed income, interest rates and FX business. 
• Partner directly with traders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and translate needs into practical technology solutions. 
• Work closely with quantitative analysts and other technology teams to deliver platform enhancements and support model integration where needed. 
• Deliver changes across the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through implementation, testing and production release. 
• Contribute to improvements in system reliability, monitoring, support processes and operational controls. 
• Support production releases and post-release monitoring to ensure smooth rollout of new functionality. 
• Collaborate with global teams across Asia, Europe and the Americas to support a globally aligned platform and operating model. 
• Contribute to a team culture focused on ownership, responsiveness, control and continuous improvement.
   

Required

• 2+ years of experience in front-office application support and/or development in a banking or capital markets environment. 
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language, ideally C# / .NET. 
• Good SQL knowledge. 
• Familiarity with tools and delivery practices such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity and Jira. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues. 
• Ability to take ownership and deliver issues or enhancements end to end, from analysis through to production. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with traders, quants and technology teams. 
• Curious, proactive and comfortable learning new technologies and tools.

Preferred

• Experience with C# / .NET in a front-office or risk environment. 
• Good understanding of fixed income, interest rate derivatives and FX products, including key risk and PnL drivers. 
• Experience working in a global team environment.

Department Description

As part of the Technology department within SG Corporate and Investment Banking, you will join a front-office technology team responsible for the development, enhancement and production support of risk and PnL applications used by the Rates and FX trading business.

Based on the trading floor, the team works in close partnership with traders, quantitative analysts and global technology teams to deliver reliable, responsive and business-aligned solutions for fixed income, interest rate derivatives and FX activities.
