Responsibilities

As a Vice President on the Strategic Transaction Group’s origination and structuring team, you will help senior STG professionals originate, structure, and execute equity derivatives transactions including margin loans, share repurchases, dilution hedges, and other derivatives-based transactions for SG’s corporate and sponsor clients. Quantitative aptitude, high attention to detail, and an ability to meet deadlines are key skills and attributes being sought in applicants for this role. The applicant would preferably have 4-6 years' experience within a corporate equity derivatives role at a sell-side institution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as back-up to Senior Salespeople
  2. Coordinate clients' requests with the different teams at Societe Generale: Trading, Engineering, Middle Office and Back Office
  3. Quarterback price requests received from clients, interpret these requests correctly and transmit them to the pricing team
  4. Pre-confirm trades with clients, following executions
  5. Address after-sales clients needs and assist manager with client relationships after sales
  6. Coordinating order management with the Traders and Sales
  7. Track client requests, market activity, and hit ratios
  8. Request Credit Risk approvals (liaise with the Risk department and COOs) and monitor existing credit line
  9. Monitor new product workflows, upkeep operational issues and improve processes
  10. Familiar with sales handbook product quality guidelines and procedures
  11. Kick off SCOW and KYC processes for new customers on-boarding and coordinate new clients' sub-accounts openings with Client Support Unit.
  12. Provide overall care of client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
  13. Identify potential customers and means of developing new business
  14. Managing Client Relationship Management tools
  15. Helping in producing valuation and performance analysis for client

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
