Senior Analyst
Responsibilities
- Process Mandatory & Voluntary Corporate Actions (Dividends, Mergers, Rights, Splits, Tender Offers, etc.).
- Perform event validation, announcement verification, and entitlement calculations.
- Ensure accurate booking and timely elections within market deadlines.
- Handle cash and stock reconciliation related to corporate action events.
- Manage deadline tracking and ensure adherence to cut‑offs.
- Liaise with Middle Office, Custodians, Brokers, and Counterparties.
- Investigate and resolve breaks, discrepancies, and claims.
- Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and SOP compliance.
- Support client queries and escalations related to Corporate Actions events.
- Assist in process improvements, controls, and risk mitigation.
Profile required
- Strong understanding of Corporate Actions lifecycle.
- Knowledge of global markets and settlement cycles.
- Experience with custodian notifications and SWIFT messages.
- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under time‑sensitive deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in Corporate Actions / Investment Banking Operations.
- Exposure to tools like DTCC, SWIFT, Bloomberg, Euroclear, Clearstream.
