Senior Analyst-Hardware Asset Management
Responsibilities
The role is to ensure process adherence among business lines on hardware asset life cycle management. Resource should have commanding understanding on Hardware Asset lifecycle Management process, which will intern to be utilized to study the existing process and recommend improvement areas.
Role demands high level of people connect, execution capability, Analytical thinking, Maturity & people management skill. Effective planning of activities & tracking every milestone is critical. Should liase with cross functional team to ensure timely action & process adherence. Lead & Own the KPIs, tracking & reporting to various forums. Understanding the organizational and business context, evaluating process, identifying improvement area, getting team aligned to execute the improvement plan & monitor result is important. Will be responsible to give alert to the top management if there is a risk or challenge, which need organization support.
Key Stakeholders:
Stakeholders in GSC India (GTS COO, GTS -Exco, IT Operations team in DWS/HCS/IAS, Finance, Sourcing, Account Payable) and vendors / suppliers delivering product or services to SG GSC India
A. Responsibilities:Process adherence:
- Responsible for Studying existing process, identify improvement areas, finalize best feasible solution, execute the solution within the set time frame, measure & control.
- Create measurement criteria, set frequency, share adherence level on agreed period. Get RCA on SLA missed cases with action plan to address the challenge in next measurement cycle.
- Timely Monitoring, tracking and reporting identified KPI's.
- Participate on governance calls and strive to achieves the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Responsible for internal process audit, addressing queries
- Responsible for maintaining consistent quality and ensuring error free process.
- Capture all errors, perform root cause analysis & submit CAPA (corrective action, preventive action)
- Ensure all process documents are up to date.
- Ensure all reports and trackers are updated daily.
- Perform daily /weekly/monthly controls defined.
- Participate in regular team connect to ensure alignment to the objectives agreed.
- Ensures all escalations are dealt on time with proper root cause & action plan discussed with key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews with counterparts to discuss operational issues, challenges, enhancements etc.
- Efficiency Management
- Support in identifying opportunity for continuous improvements.
- Support/contribute achieve efficiency by process improvement, innovative ideas, etc.
- Think beyond business as usual and automate existing processes.
- Keep a keen observation on potential saving and cost avoidance opportunities.
- Improve efficiency through automation & simplification.
- Identify Process Improvement projects, present to stakeholders and obtain approval.
- Communicating to vendor for any queries and ensuring end results are achieved, track vendor governance call.
- Relationship Management
- Be a good team player, play key role in ensuring process awareness among team.
- Provide support and backup to the team members wherever needed.
Profile required
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of experience in IT Hardware Asset life cycle Management. Preferably in IT / Banking sector.
- In-depth understanding on Hardware Asset Life cycle, hands on experience in managing each phase, understanding on key challenges and solutions in each stage.
- Experienced in process improvement missions (MQ/ KAIZEN,SIX Sigma, Agile etc).
Very good In process documentation, presentation, feedback collection, review & update
