Responsibilities
Senior Coverage Analyst (SG Americas Securities, LLC, New York, NY)
Ensure that credit risks assumed by the Bank for clients in portfolio are properly identified, assessed,
measured, and mitigated; Analyze and understand risks, report and explain the risks and dynamics of
positions; Actively participate in the Watch Lis/Early Warning Indicator review process; Proactively
monitor relevant metrics and indicators as required and escalate issues as necessary; Work closely with
Bankers and Front Office to improve understanding of the intrinsic risk of clients in portfolio; Work closely
with 1LOD & 2LOD risk & credit teams in analyzing and monitoring exposures; PCRU responsibility with
Risk sub-delegation on certain accounts under portfolio; Monitor reputational risk with a special attention
to High risk situations (tax aggressive structures for example, PEPs..); Review new credit requests that
are originated/analyzed by front office and challenge/recommend/opine on requests; Monitor credit quality
post-origination on both a single name and portfolio basis using all available tools/sources of information;
Assist the Senior Coverage in the development of the client/prospect relationship; Prepare presentations,
documents, press reviews and any additional support requested by the Senior Coverage as part of
client’s meetings, negotiations, and management reporting; Perform economic and financial analysis on
Key clients and prospects; Conduct industry research including peers’ analysis, sector, country studies;
Conduct internal reviews and follow up action plans per client/portfolio: analyze business potential and
cross selling opportunities, participate in meetings with stakeholders to identify the opportunities/gaps;
Monitor market trends and track clients’ performance; Understand the impact of new regulation, market
evolution on investors’ clients and Bank offer; Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to
participate in clients’ meetings if requested by the Senior Coverage; Support the effective execution of the
Client teams’ business plan; Contribute to monitor clients’ activity with the bank; Ensure Meetings Notes
are properly delivered to the various stakeholders; Assist in the write up of reports to Management;
Contribute to the monitoring of clients’ performance/profitability and the monitoring of the counterparty
risk; Provide operational support to key stakeholders when relevant (statistics, documentation,
onboarding guidance); Acquire and utilize a deep understanding of clients’ strategy to better support them
in achieving their goals; and Help enhance the Bank’s strategic profile with valuable clients.
Telecommuting permitted up to one day per week. When not telecommuting, must report to SGAS, 245
Park Avenue, New York, NY 10167. Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
Profile required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent n Business Economics, Finance,
Operations, Accounting, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst,
Investment Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving financial analysis and Client Relationship
Management in Capital Markets at a global financial institution.
Must also have the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience analyzing risk frameworks
and legal agreements. 3 years of professional experience ensuring compliance with operational teams
and conducting analysis of risk requirements (including data leakage, security policies and regulatory
requirements). 3 years of professional experience adhering to individual and department conduct rules in
accordance with the FCA and PRA Code of Conduct rules. 3 years of professional experience managing,
controlling, preparing, and escalating risk in line with existing policies. 2 years of professional experience
providing operational support to sales representatives (including booking sales credits and index hit
ratios, and creating performance reports). 2 years of professional experience automating manual
processes to improve efficiency. 2 years of professional experience conducting industry, financial, and
competitive benchmarks for client advisory and preparing debt and equity financing transactions for
clients.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
