Responsibilities

Mission: 

The Senior KYC/AML Officer is part of the Transfer Agent Oversight team. The KYC/AML Officer’s primary task is to be the main point of contact for the resolution of complex cases and perform oversight on the India Team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Process AML/KYC assessments in relation to Account Opening and Maintenance of investor registers
  • Review and respond to AML related queries across all clients
  • Run, review and update AML reports and provide these reports to Management and Compliance department
  • Maintain AML/KYC procedures up to date as well as contribute to the setup of the AML/KYC Guidelines
  • Contribute to AML reviews, plus any audit related exercises                                                               
  • Respond to complex queries coming from clients and/ or the offshored teams                                   
  • Liaise with Compliance Officers of clients in case of escalation (MANCOs)                                                      
  • Hold regular training sessions with teams in terms of the regulatory environment 

Profile required

Operational skills 

  • Advanced level of French and English
  • 3-5 years’ experience of managing AML/KYC aspects, including sanctioned and embargo                    
  • Strong understanding of the relevant rules and regulations for compliance theme areas, including, AML/KYC laws, FATCA/CRS and Luxembourg's regulations/CSSF Circulars
  • Good knowledge of regulations and CSSF circulars
  • ACAMS certifications will be deemed as a plus
  • Ideally comfortable with the MFGI, World check and Dow Jones applications
  • Strong experience with research tools such as World Check/Fircosoft                                                                    
  • Proven knowledge of regulatory requirements and an ability to translate them into operational/process requirements
  • Working in close cooperation with local and cross-border colleagues in a project-oriented environment
  • Partner throughout the organization i.e., sales, operations, legal, compliance and internal audit
