Within Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division brings together the Research, Investment and Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures and Currencies & Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

Model & Risk Monitoring:  
As the leader of the team responsible for monitoring pricing and margining models, you will:

  • Ensure accurate and timely monitoring for the AMER branch. 
  • Mentor team members and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Enhance existing monitoring methodologies for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with quantitative analysts to establish new monitoring requirements and methodologies.
  • Implement innovative solutions and best practices to optimize the monitoring process.
  • Participate in the oversight of SGI operations, the SIMM model, and other risk metrics managed by the Global Market Department.

 

Project Management & Governance:  
In this role, you will:

  • Lead projects aimed at addressing quantitative recommendations from audits, RISQ, or regulators.
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the accurate and comprehensive documentation of pricing models.
  • Assist in the certification and inventory management of pricing models, ensuring model ratings are current.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Profile required

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Strong understanding of pricing models, margining models, and risk metrics with demonstrated project management skills and experience delivering complex projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages in Python, R, and C++/C#.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Languages: French and English

 

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
