Senior Salesperson – Middle Market Sales
Responsibilities
We are searching for a Senior Salesperson focusing on Middle Market Sales to join Bernstein’s Institutional Sales team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience opening new accounts, pricing negotiations, and covering a large number of diverse accounts to maximize the impact of Bernstein’s world-class research products.
As a Senior Salesperson, you will:
· Synthetize significant inputs including: investor sentiment, positioning, Bernstein research calls and products, sector news and events to communicate impactfully with clients and internal stakeholders
· Frame research and products to help identify opportunities for the Bernstein team to add value to investors
· Work with the Investor Access team to develop and organize relevant marketing opportunities
· Salespeople should be comfortable making numerous calls a year many of which will focus on the commerciality of our client relationships
· Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and be detail oriented
· Be responsible for establishing commercial terms with clients

Profile required
Basic Qualifications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated proficiency in presenting and debating a point under pressure
· Proven track record of entrepreneurialism
· Strong organizational skills including using Excel to track data and the ability to organize a call sheet in a high-volume environment
· Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
· Proven understanding of global equity markets, company financials, asset allocation and strategy
· Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills and client service orientation
· Commercial skills to market and monetize research content
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
· 5 + years of financial selling experience
