Senior SAP BW/4HANA (Consultant)

• Maintain and enhance existing complex implementation of daily loads from 20+ sources into SAP BW/4HANA system
• Maintain and enhance as per requirements and change requests regulatory reporting taking place via SAP BW/4HANA system
• Maintain and enhance data models, data flows and data extractions on SAP BW/4HANA as well as native HANA
• Perform complex analysis related to reconciliation and month-end processes running via SAP BW/4HANA
• Perform analysis of business requirements and independently execute major changes, and carry out enhancements in SAP BW/4HANA environment
• Work with support team to ensure optimization of existing SAP BW/4HANA environments, including performance optimization, housekeeping tasks etc.
• Analyse, maintain and enhance data sharing existing between SAP BW/4HANA (Native HANA) and other systems requiring data such as external parties, other cloud data warehouses (such as snowflake)
• Maintain and analyze data quality queries and user requests on existing data-flows
• Support the handling of the queue with outstanding incidents and change requests.
• Advice on the testing and implementation of the solutions on SAP BW/4HANA and Native HANA

• Experience in writing User Stories / Business Requirements Specification, Functional / Technical Specifications and understand DevOps, Agile methodology/framework.
• Act as a partner to Business & Digital/IT users to perform hands-on developments in Projects, Small & Major Changes, Incident & Problem Management and define right solutions from Design and Cost perspective.
• Be able to support and where needed also challenge requirements in the role of a SME (subject matter expert). Together with Business user to validate the functionality as per business needs, support testing (IST & UAT) and User training.
• Experience in collaboration with different domains (functions) in a multinational environment.
  • 10 years (+) experience working in SAP BW/4HANA (Previously worked on SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, 7.3).
  • Experienced with writing and debugging complex AMDP coding in BW/4HANA.
  • SAP Functional Experience in modules like SAP Finance and Insurance is a must
  • Proven skills in handling all the areas related to BW/4 HANA like data extraction, modelling, reporting, customizing, designing, automation, real time replication.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BW and BW/4 HANA architectures LSA, LSA++ and SAP BW data models.
  • Hands on experience in developing objects in BW/4 HANA (modelling objects, extractors, enhancements, generic extractors, ODP objects, SLT, SDA & SDI, ABAP and HANA SQL).
  • Extensive knowledge and work experience on ADSOs, Composite providers, Open ODS views, calculation view, analytical views, attribute views, calculation view type cube / dimension, embedded analytics-CDS views.
