Senior Settlement Analyst
Responsibilities
Join our international team of settlement analysts and take the lead in ensuring flawless execution of OTC derivative settlements across vanilla and exotic instruments. As a Senior Settlement Analyst, you’ll contribute to daily production by applying your hands-on expertise in the field, while being the main point of reference for external and internal teams in matters related to settlement operations. You’ll be the knowledge reference for the team and will drive operational excellence in a dynamic, global environment.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Overseeing and executing end-to-end settlement processes for OTC equity index and commodities index derivatives, while ensuring 100% accuracy, meeting cut-off deadlines and ensuring compliance with both internal and market standards
Acting as a first-level escalation point for cash flows and payment validation while collaborating with global internal (Front Office, Middle Office, Trading, Regulatory) and external stakeholders
Executing regular critical controls by monitoring production, queues, tracking KPIs, and facilitating risk management framework through KRIs prioritization
Driving operational transformation by representing settlement operations within strategic IT digitalization projects
Facilitating governance meetings and prioritizing team workload allocation through dashboards and governance tools, ensuring timely alerts and zero defects
Driving process improvements, including SOP reviews
Acting as a knowledge reference and mentoring team members in terms of settlement products, processes, and tools
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You have strong expertise in OTC equity index derivatives settlements and related functions
You possess solid knowledge of vanilla and exotic products, contractual frameworks and settlement tools
You communicate fluently in English (French is a plus) and excel in stakeholder and client management
You demonstrate strong communication skills, proactivity, and the ability to drive continuous improvement
You are detail-oriented, focused on operational excellence and rigor, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
