Senior Structurer (Equity Pricing), Global Markets
Responsibilities
Mission Statement & Core Functions:
The candidate will be part of the Structuring for Products & Solutions (SPS) team within SG Global Markets. More specifically he/she will take the lead in designing, pricing, promoting and executing Equity Derivatives solutions to Institutional clients in Asia. The candidate is expected to align and develop himself/herself to achieve SG Leadership Model.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Design, contextualize, price, market and execute Equity derivative solutions with a focus on (i) Institutional and (ii) non-flow mass retail pods (for ex: Insurance distribution) across Asia (including Japan and ex-Japan).
- Interact with external parties (Clients, business partners) and internal stakeholders (such as SPS, Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Quants and Research) to deliver meaningful solutions.
- Liaise with the US, Europe to coordinate the effort and promote best practices.
- Understand and identify business opportunities.
- Supervise 2 structurers (1 based in Japan, 1 in Hong Kong)
Profile required
Skills Required:
- Result driven mindset.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills together with strict attention to detail, strong understanding of Equity Derivatives products and associated risks. Knowledge of QIS strategies is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming, Python scripting and other programming languages.
- Strong autonomy. Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.
- Excellent communication skills in English, ability to explain complex products in a clear concise manner
- Manage and develop subordinates.
