Responsibilities

Senior Systems Analyst (SG Americas Operational Services, LLC, Jersey City, NJ)
Work with a team of highly technical engineers to extend the functionality and performance of the
company’s trading system that manages significant amounts of trading flow; Provide functional and
technical expertise to produce and promote maintainable and quality solutions; Manage the team ticket
backlog and serve as an escalation point; Stay informed of the status of projects conducted in the different
Feature Teams, and make sure support topics are properly prioritized by the team members participating
in those meetings; Make sure all team members have appropriate training to perform their duties and
conduct regular progress assessment meetings with team members; Execute, develop and create morning
checklists and make process improvement recommendations as needed; Provide timely resolution of
functional and technical issues and report incidents to the appropriate chain of command for End-users
such as Sales, Traders, Front, Middle and Back Office and Compliance; Troubleshoot functional issues in
a complex financial environment, with various applications and architecture regionally and/or globally;
Provide functional and technical expertise to produce and promote maintainable and quality solutions,
including documenting system requirements and documentation of support run book; Actively participate in
the on-boarding of new applications; Communicate with users regarding application outages and upcoming
events like release, projects etc.; Partner with the Global support teams (Paris/Asia) to ensure quality
support to our end users; Liaise with development teams in Bangalore, New York, and Paris; Respond to
end users within timeframe dictated by the severity of the problem, document and track (case histories,
issues, and action steps); Create and deliver timely production and project status reports to client and IT
management; Provide users with a customized training; Design and implement requests from business user
via the use of vendor API software; Design and implement audit-mandated data reconciliation routines; and
Understand regulatory environment and constraints. Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.
When not telecommuting, must report to SG Americas Operational Services, LLC, 480 Washington Blvd,
Jersey City, NJ 07310. Salary: $152,859 - $216,000 per year

Profile required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Systems, Computer
Science or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Analyst,
or any occupation/position/job title involving performing application support analysis in Financial services.
Must also have the following: 3 years of professional experience with Unix/Linux systems using
troubleshooting techniques and scripting languages (including Shell and Python); 3 years of professional
experience managing IT application platforms for Records Retention in compliance with regulations for a
global financial institution; 3 years of professional experience programming applications using Java, Spring
boot and JavaScript frameworks (including React and Angular); 3 years of professional experience using
PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases to design, implement and support database schema, access control,
and stored procedures; 3 years of professional experience deploying, managing and securing IT services
on Public Cloud platforms including Azure and AWS; 3 years of professional experience with GitHub,
Jenkins, Docker and SonarQube to manage CI/CD pipeline for a basket of applications running on Public
Cloud; 3 years of professional experience generating reports using PowerBI, FARMS and deploying
application workflow; 2 years of professional experience managing the lifecycle of services on Public Cloud
to address vulnerabilities and technology obsolescence; 2 years of professional experience using Microsoft
Excel; and 1 year of professional experience working as part of a global team supporting a global platform.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
