Sourcing Specialist
Responsibilities
The role will focus on end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities beyond initial RFPs already completed (Project Management and Design), ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of additional sourcing waves including main contractor, relocation services, IT infrastructure, and ancillary vendors.
The successful candidate will work closely with Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Legal, and key stakeholders including SG Group Sourcing Division members from the Head office in France to deliver sourcing outcomes aligned with governance, cost efficiency, and project timelines. He/she will be in charge of ensuring the respect of SG’s Sourcing processes and best practices as well as using SG’s sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Procurement Execution
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes (RFI / RFP / RFQ) for remaining project categories, including but not limited to:
- Main contractor / fit-out contractor
- Relocation / move management services
- IT cabling / infrastructure vendors
- Furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E)
- Security, access control, and specialist vendors
- Develop and manage sourcing strategies, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with project requirements
Prepare commercial evaluation models and manage bid analysis
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a procurement partner to Corporate Real Estate and project stakeholders
- Facilitate vendor clarification sessions, proposal reviews, and negotiation workshops
- Provide ongoing reporting to senior management on sourcing progress, risks, and savings opportunities
Commercial Negotiation & Contracting
- Lead commercial negotiations to optimize cost, delivery, and risk allocation
- Coordinate with Legal to draft, review, and finalize contracts
- Ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and audit requirements
Supplier Management & Risk Control
- Conduct vendor due diligence, risk screening, and onboarding
- Ensure vendors meet compliance, ESG, and risk management standards
- Monitor supplier performance during sourcing phase and transition to execution teams
Governance & Reporting
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal procurement policies and banking regulatory standards
- Maintain audit-ready documentation across all sourcing events
- Provide structured project reporting (timeline, savings, risk, decision logs)
Profile required
Education
- University Bachelor’s Degree and above
The candidate should ideally have:
- 10+ years experience in Sourcing / Vendor Management and ideally from Banking industry
- Strategic sourcing vision
- Strong knowledge in Asia market benchmark and local regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
- Operating knowledge of e-Sourcing tool would be a significant plus
- Proven track records of negotiation (commercials and contract) on big tickets
- Good coordination skills and project management
- Knowledge and understanding of contracts and legal clauses
- Be able to work under pressure plus self-starter
