Responsibilities

  • As a Software Engineer - we expect the candidate to independently handle the GMI Quarterly Release & MEC Release projects end-end.
  • Communicate with the PO/Business-users and gather the requirement and document it.
  • Should be able to handle GMI PROD L3 issues and provide resolution on time and suggest a fix and work with DEV team accordingly.
  • Timely communication of project status/updates is a must.
  • Track Vendor CSBs and communicate to business on regular basis.

Profile required

  • 5+ years of hands-on developer experience in IBM-i(AS400) with RPGLE, CLLE, SQL skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in back office settlement system GMI with good understanding of trade processing, position management, margins, GL flow, regulatory reporting, fees and commission and corporate actions.
  • Good understanding of Exchange traded derivatives, trade life cycle, OTC.
  • Good knowledge of batch steps and regional processing flows with experience of GMI/AS400 - L2/L3 Production support.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Good exposure to Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of software craftmanship practices.
