Responsibilities

  • Your mission :

    Your mission will be to integrate with the “Technical Development Team” which aims to migrate applications based on obsolete technologies to target technologies for the Societe Generale group.

    We are looking for candidates with a strong track record of owning and executing strategic  cross-functional projects as well as partnering with other teams to drive key process improvements.

    Work collaboratively with a global team to design, develop scalable, maintainable and  reliable services that process huge chunk of data using Big Data technologies.

  • Demonstrated abilities:

  • Innovative team member with analytical abilities and preferred experience in Agile methodologies.

  • Finds practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.

  • Ability to utilize exceptional,  problem-solving and communication skills to influence other stakeholders.

  • Provide day-to-day support during rollout/implementation of newer systems /processes and gather feedback.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe systems
  • Work with JCL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS to support batch and online applications
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform production support, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and fixes
  • Debug and optimize existing COBOL programs for performance and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other technical teams
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives
