Specialist Software Engineer - DevOps
Responsibilities
General expectations
· Good English communication skills
· Able to collaborate & work with teams in Paris & India
· OPS role (40%) & DEVOPS role (30%) & Development role (30%)
· Working timing: 9 AM to 6 PM (Poland & France business hours)
· Flexible to adjust / extend the working hours, in case of Major issues / Crisis situations
· Flexible to work on weekends (probably one weekend per month)
Language skills:
· Fluency in English
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
· CI/CD/Dev tools: GIT, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Private cloud (VM), GitHub, Groovy, Python, Linux, Shell scripting
· Experience in Core Java / J2ee, Spring, Spring Boot technologies, Oracle
· Knowledge of SOA / Microservices (REST, Soap) and its challenges
· Experience delivering sound development, testing, implementation, deployment and support strategies in complex distributed environments.
· Knowledge on production monitoring tools.
· Technical Expertise, good communication and team Player
· Problem solving, and analyzing mindset
· Strong written and communication skills
· Able to plan & Prioritize work
Technical Stack
· Devops Tools : CI/CD/Dev tools: GIT, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Private cloud (VM), GitHub, Groovy, Python, Linux, Shell scripting
· Development tech stack: Java (8 & 17), Java Swing, Spring Framework (Boot and Batch), Oracle
· Monitoring: ELK stack

We expect from the candidates:
Activities :
Ops
· Ability to work within an international context – fluent in English is required
· Should have strong L1 & L2 support experience
· Very good hands on knowledge on Autosys tool.
· Good understanding of SQL Queries
· Good knowledge with Unix commands
· Good Understanding of Release Management, Problem Management, Incident Management (ITIL)
· Report and escalate to management as needed
· Exposure to release and deployment process.
· Good understanding of Upstream and Downstream applications
· Adhere the SLA Process to respond the End Users as agreed with the Business
· Troubleshoot problems with application development and use
· Strong Knowledge of Scripting/programming is mandatory.
Devops
· Design and Implement CI/CD pipelines
· Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
· Monitoring and measuring system experience and KPIs
· Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
· Able to work with Devops tools independently
· Release management follow-up using DEVOPS tools
· Development of new features: conception, development, testing, deployment
Profile required
ROLE - DEVELOPER
1. 4 to 5 years expereince in UI\UX, JAVA and SOA skills
2. Develop features as per CD and digital practices and within agreed timeline
3. Ensure all CD L3 practices implemented (BDD, TDD, Review, JIRA, Monitoring etc.)
4. All code review completed by leads and review comments included on time
5. Ensure all features are tested in INT, HOM and UAT along with BA
6. Zero quality issues in developed feature and maintain tech debt at < 1.3
7. Contribution to transversal initiative/s like tech chapter, tech guild
8. Explore new idea, technology and make impactful contribution
9. Impactful contribution across projects in BL
10. Build maturity from Front end to being a full stack developer
