Responsibilities

Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Databricks & Snowflake (AWS / Azure)

Key Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and improving our data platform operations on Databricks and Snowflake hosted on AWS and Azure. You will work closely with Infrastructures and Security teams to ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement of cloud-based data solutions.

Support & Operations

  • Provide level 2/3 support for Databricks and Snowflake environments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service availability and incident response.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues across platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance monitoring and alerting systems (logs, metrics, performance).

Automation & Integration

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, deployment pipelines, etc.).
  • Integrate Databricks and Snowflake into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Manage configuration, access control, and security policies across cloud environments.

Service Offering & Platform Evolution

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of internal service offerings around Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with Data, Cloud, and Security teams to define robust and scalable architectures.
  • Document architectures, operational processes, and best practices.
  • Help onboard new users and promote platform adoption.

Profile required

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with TerraformGitCI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana…).
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles (IAM, RBAC, auditing, compliance).

Good to have Additional technical skills

  • Databricks (jobs, cluster management, administration, Unity Catalog, etc.).
  • Snowflake (warehouse management, security, performance tuning, data sharing).

Soft Skills:

  • Customer-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
