Responsibilities

•  Maintenance of Elastic Search + ECE (Elastic Cloud Enterprise) clusters

•   Monitoring production KPIs and raising alerts when necessary

•   Managing capacity planning follow-up

•   Following up on processes: change, incident, problem management

•  Maintaining automation scripts written in Ansible / Ansible Tower + Terraform

•  Proposing improvements for the current platforms: automation, incident performance, proper usage by clients, best practices

•  Level 3 support for applications hosted on Elastic Search + ECE infrastructure: managing templates, mappings, allocation, Logstash. Providing sizing recommendations for ELK/ECE components

•  Knowledge of Kibana: access rights, management of spaces & objects; expertise in dashboarding is a plus

•  Strong Linux knowledge is also required

•   Being attentive to client needs and communicating during all types of changes: cluster lifecycle, environment operations, ad hoc events, presentation of new features, etc.

• Ability to develop a close relationship with the ElasticSearch vendor as well as with the internal team

•  Working in an agile mode respecting ceremonies

Profile required

Skill-set must have: Ansible(***), Terraform(***), Hadoop(**), Python (*)

  • Graduation with 6+ yrs experience
  • Elasticsearch Administrator with Automation Skills (Ansible & Terraform)
