Responsibilities

We are seeking to hire a skilled SAS Dev+Admin professional to help us with the support on our current projects. As part of our team, you will play an essential role in the delivery and support process of Société Générale software solutions.

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Work with other teams to provide day to day admin and development support for ongoing activities.
  • Analyse, develop, code, test, debug and document programming on assigned applications as per business requirements.
  • Provide support for modelling and risk management applications.
  • Work independently with project managers/Developers/ business users on Projects to define and provide support and administration.
  • Monitor Platform for performance and to be proactively able to handle any event/ incident occurrences.
  • Conduct monitory checks as part of regulatory requirements in SAS.
  • Perform Root cause analysis and hot fixes as suggested by Transversal Tech teams
  • Diagnose issues, report, resolve and document with resolution.
  • Initiate and maintain communication with SAS Vendor for resolution of issues outside the scope of administration.
  • Creation and resolution of incident tickets with SAS team globally.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology and technical documentation on all the tasks.
  • Detail oriented and diligent in delivery – strong balance of technical and soft skills.
  • Ability to think and contribute towards process and innovation.
  • Ability to create training documents and take initiatives to train peers.
  • Ability to work and contribute as an Individual contributor with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to deliver in tight timeframes and respond quickly in an ever-changing environment.

Profile required

  • 5+ Years of experience in SAS administration and development support.
  • Very good knowledge of SAS Office analytics (Enterprise Guide & STUDIO) and Visual analytics (VIYA) both in admin and development.
  • Experience in Base, Advance SAS and Macros.
  • Experience of root cause analysis for the development support issues.
  • Experience of performing upgrades/ hot fixes of the Platform and provide administrative support.
  • Preferred experience on cloud-based technologies like S3.
  • Strong command in UNIX Commands, installation of SAS and its various modules
  • Good understanding of SAS Architecture
  • Good experience of managing the Servers / Infra and their upgrades/patches etc
  • Good knowledge of Unix/ other shell scripting languages
  • Good hands-on experience of managing jobs Schedulers
  • Good DB/ SQL skills
  • Assertive communication skills (written & spoken)
