Specialist Software Engineer - Support
Responsibilities
Responsible to perform Level1 and Level2 Support BAU activities to maintain Application stability.
Effective collaborations with different application team and business users for immediate resolutions for production issues and queries.
Facilitate RCA forums with all the stakeholders to ensure Service quality.
Monitor, analyze, report and ensure day to day operational execution.
Identify operational efficiency opportunities, automation opportunities; document and track until closure.
Track all knowledge management requirement and ensure completing required updates/trainings on a timely manner.
Participate in Knowledge transfer process and ensure controlled entry into Production operations.
Internal Interfaces:
- Team members, Developers, Technical leader, Business Analyst
External Interfaces:
- Onshore team, Developers, Technical Lead, Business Analyst, End Users"
Responsible for understanding and analyzing any unexpected behavior in production, perform Level1 and Level 2 analysis and communicate properly to all the stakeholders.
Profile required
- At least 4 years of experience in Production Support preferably Banking domain.
- Good knowledge on SQL
- Good knowledge on any scheduling tool (Preferably Autosys)
- Through understanding of Level 1 and Level 2 support operations, ITIL best practices and industry trend.
- Good communication and Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong Autonomy / Proactive and Flexible.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple stakeholders across the globe under tight delivery timelines.
- Comfortable to work as a team and share information with the teammates
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong desire to own issues through to resolution.
- Able to handle Complex problems regularly and come up with creative and effective approaches for resolution.
- Knowledge on Power Bi report will add value.
- Need to have long term perspective on end user needs. Collaborates closely with all stakeholders to develop solutions. Think ahead, acts with oversight, co-ordinates efforts to support strategy.
