Specialist Software Engineer-Test Automation Expert
Responsibilities
MSA Level - Normal + 110 - Specialist Software Engineer
Responsibility:
1. As aligned to our objectives of 2026, we need to assist feature teams automate close to 40+ applications to MS Playwright.
2. We must coach teams on best practices and how to get started with MS Playwright Automation adoption.
3. Teams must be independent w.r.t. MS Playwright automation and must assist them as and when required.
4. We will automate 1 or more complex scenario(s) presented by the feature team including Authentication, Authorisation and any complex scenario that will improve teams' confidence in their automation journey.
5. The technology stack is not limited to MS Playwright alone, Cypress, Selenium & other tools are being used which must be supported.
6. The responsibility also includes CI/CD automation build out, maintaining docker images and keeping the images vulnerability free.
7. Expect timely management reports, stakeholder management, scheduling meetings with feature teams as required with clear communication when required.
8. Frequent upskilling on emerging testing strategy, tools and practices is expected
Profile required
Primary Skills Required:
Excellent Communication Skills with around 8 years Automation experience -
1. Test Automation Expert - with Experience in MS Playwright Automation & Reporting [CI/CD pipelines and Standalone installations]
2. Automation Experience in - Java/Type Scripting, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Jmeter, Gatling, PyTest & other test tools
Secondary skills:
1. Good in shell scripting
2. Good understanding of CI/CI Pipelines - GithubActions & Jenkins
