Specialist Systems Engineer - Webhosting
Responsibilities
· Minimum of experience - 5 Years.
· High proficiency on Production support for Middleware technologies - Apache, WebLogic, Tomcat and WildFly/JBoss.
· Expertise on Java Application server’s installation for various versions.
· Installation and upgrade experience on various middleware technologies.
· Able to troubleshoot issues and provide RCA. Knowledge on SSL is must.
· Expertise on Troubleshooting and able to handle Production P1 calls.
· Knowledge on Shell/Python Script and good experience on Linux platforms.
· Technical Experience on Apache, WebLogic, Tomcat and wildfly/Jboss.
· Hands on experience to handle production issues.
· Knowledge and Experience on Apache installation.
· Experience on Configuration set up like SSL installation, Virtual host setup, proxy set up etc.
· Knowledge and Experience on WebLogic installation for various versions.
· Patch installation.
· Version Upgrade.
· Knowledge and experience on configuration setup such as Data source, SSL, JMS, LDAP etc.
· Hands on experience to provide support on production environments.
· Knowledge and Experience for Installation of tomcats.
· SSL configuration set up.
· JVM configuration set up.
· Knowledge on upgradation from one version to another version.
· Wildfly/Jboss
· Knowledge on Wildfly/Jboss to provide support.
Profile required
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with strong technical solution mindset
7+ years of experience with WAS Administration activities
Candidate must possess 5+ years of experience supporting production issues in a large production environment
Experience in UNIX OS and Shell/Python script and Basic SQL and Java knowledge
Ability to understand and debug WAS administration and development related issues
Experience in providing architectural solutions for web container platform
Excellent presentation and communication skills and self-starter
