Sr. Analyst Credit Admin
Responsibilities
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
The individual will be responsible for assisting the credit analysts of CPM FAI having the portfolio of asset managers; Mutual funds, Hedge funds, private and institutional funds, pension funds; and other counterparties. Day to day responsibilities include:
· Assisting in upgrading the internal data quality management for NBFI portfolio primarily funds by assisting in the remediation of internal groupings and setups, classification while liaising with data management and onboarding teams.
· Assisting in fund segmentation, new combinations, matrix update, liaising with CPM, Risk, Data management and onboarding teams. Perform permanent supervision.
· Assist Credit analyst in CPM to improve data quality for Auto-limits, NAV Flows, loss of ratings, etc. liaising with different Business lines.
· Assist in preparation of the credit’s portfolio analysis in the framework of global annual reviews to be prepared in coordination with the CPM FAI teams worldwide.
· Do a prescreening / portfolio-level review of material credit matters as seen through risk metrics.
· Assist in the post-trade monitoring process for various reports including that of overshoot monitoring, stress testing, NAV monitoring etc.
· Assist the CPM/FAI analysts in the region with the processing of credit applications.
· Regularly update the monthly workflow and collect information from analyst / front office/ RMs to ensure timely closure of files.
· Liaise with business lines to determine trading needs for the year and notify/report post approvals from credit teams.
· Input of credit requests from the deal flow and information in our various systems.
· Prepare reports for portfolio monitoring- limit overshoots, Auto-limit, limit loss, MI Reports on Funds, Permanent Supervision reports, Deck preparation, obligor risk ratings dashboard, annual review deadlines, region/sector exposure, covenant compliance, Watch List triggers etc.
· Provide the necessary support to the onshore and offshore teams to ensure a smooth operation within CPM.
· Source information from various internal and external systems/tools as requested by the CPM analysts, follow up on actions to be performed by the credit teams.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, global standards, and industry best practices.
· Be back up for the tasks assigned to ISD team.
· Prepare KPI reports and assist with reporting tasks.
Profile required
COMPETENCIES
· Ability to organize time and manage deliverables to deadlines under pressure.
· Ability to identify and accommodate shifting priorities with little notice.
· Acquire ability to complete work with minimal or no supervision.
· Strong communication skills and ability to interact with banking professionals at all levels.
· Quick learner with ability to multi-task while paying attention to details.
· Ability to learn and utilize SG systems.
· Ability to investigate/research/synthesize data and make appropriate conclusions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Good understanding of lending terminology, commercial & investment banking products, derivatives, legal documentation
· Good knowledge of finance and accounting fundamentals.
· Proficiency using MS Office for data and reporting requirements.
· Experience in Advanced MS Excel, Power Pivot, Power Query, Data Querying, Macros, VBA
· Experience in Developing Macros, VBA code writing, Troubleshooting, is an advantage.
· Experience in data Analysis, Data Cleaning, Dashboard reporting and other reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) would be preferred.
· Experience in Credit Administration / Middle Office functions is an advantage.
· Knowledge of third-party information sources like Bloomberg, S&P, SNL etc.
· Ability to learn and utilize SG systems.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
· Relevant experience in large international bank or similar financial services organization
o Sr. Analyst – Credit Admin (4+ years of relevant experience)
· Knowledge or previous experience on Funds.
