Responsibilities

The SER department is organized into two units: Life Cycle and Post Servicing Management. As a Structured Finance Back Office Servicing Analyst you will manage a portfolio of deals (Loans and/or Guarantees), specializing in managing funding gaps and cashbreaks, monitoring payment delays, and processing manual payments and manual refinancing requests.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Managing funding gaps and cashbreaks: analyze discrepancies, identifying their root cause, commenting them, and monitoring until full resolution

  • Performing corrections or, when the modification must be made in Loan IQ, requesting the correction to the Life Cycle officer in charge of the deal

  • Monitoring outgoing and incoming payments related to operations processed by Life Cycle team and intervening to unblock any blocked payments

  • Entering and validating manual payment requests within internal deadlines and cut offs, systematically challenging the necessity of manual processing and identifying the root cause

  • Identifying late payments and following up with counterparties when necessary

  • Detecting unpaid items and instruct Life Cycle team to record them in Loan IQ

  • Classifying communications and legal documents

  • Taking charge of new deals after transfer from upstream team

  • Ensuring daily data quality and completeness of indicators

  • Promoting client satisfaction and acting as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have worked in back-office of a bank

  • You have a solid understanding of payments, cash management, and basic accounting principles

  • You demonstrate high levels of rigor, autonomy, and the analytical skills required to investigate complex financial discrepancies

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, as you will communicate daily with international stakeholders

  • You have a degree in Finance or a related field (nice to have)

  • You have prior exposure to Structured Finance products or experience using Loan IQ (very nice to have)
