Structured Finance Back Office Servicing Analyst – M/F/D
Responsibilities
As a Deal Manager, you oversee a portfolio of Structured Finance deals and handle the Loan Servicing activities. You work closely with internal stakeholders (such as front office, risk and compliance, back-offices and finance) to ensure transactions are smooth during the lifecycle of the loan. After deal closing, you are the point of contact for operational matters within GBSU/FTB/STR for the external customers.
The key responsibilities of the successful candidate are to:
- Process / validate loan participations (new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay-downs, commitment reductions)
- Daily transfer of loan proceeds; receipt of funds and matching incoming cash
- Process / validate Interest and fee billing for the direct/agented Loans, billing the customers and send pro-rata shares to the participants.
- Review the reconciliation of positions, discrepancies in Interest and fee payments
- Manage Cash breaks and internal funding reconciliation
- Ensure good data quality on your portfolio
- Review various system generated reports to ensure proper monitoring of the facilities, investigating past due items, suspense, receivables, expiring SBLC, etc.
- Ensure all process requirements are documented fully, appropriately, and sign-off is obtained from all stakeholders periodically
- Ensure compliance/regulatory adherence
- Monitor/Escalate errors and incidents
Profile required
We expect from the candidates:
- Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
- Strong understanding of syndicated/bi-lateral financing and loan life cycle (includes deal origination, transaction management, secondary trading, amendment/restructures, and corresponding regulatory reporting)
- Knowledge on Basel Norms and credit risk
- Fluency in English; French or other European language skills are a plus
- Strong customer service ethos
- Good understanding of basic accounting
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
- Ability to manage own workload and deliverables
- Team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
- Ability to navigate effectively in global organization (working with other teams, countries, regions)
