Structured Finance Back Office Servicing Analyst - M/F/D
Responsibilities
The Warsaw-based part of the Operations Structured Finance Back Office team was created in 2024. Their mission is to work closely with the Paris-based part and the internal stakeholders, such as Front Office, Risk and Compliance, other Back Office teams and Finance to ensure that transactions are smooth during the lifecycle of the loan. As a Structured Finance Back Office Servicing Analyst, you will also be the point of contact for operational matters for the external customers.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Loan administration (new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay-downs, commitment reductions)
Daily transfer of loan proceeds; receipt of funds and matching incoming cash payments
Processing Interest and fee billing for the direct/agented Loans, billing the customers and sending pro-rata shares to the participants.
Reviewing the reconciliation of positions, discrepancies in Interest and fee payments
Managing cash breaks and internal funding reconciliation
Reviewing various system generated reports to ensure proper monitoring of the facilities; investigating past due items, suspense, receivables, expiring SBLC, etc
Ensuring all process requirements are documented fully, appropriately, and sign-off is obtained from all stakeholders periodically
Ensuring compliance/regulatory adherence
Monitoring/escalating errors and incidents
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You have experience in a back-office position in banking or financial services (ideally in structured finance)
You speak fluent English (French is a plus)
You are familiar with syndicated/bi-lateral financing and loan life cycle (includes deal origination, transaction management, secondary trading, amendment/ restructures, and corresponding regulatory reporting)
You understand basic principles of accounting
You have logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
You like working as a part of the team and value team spirit
You can work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
