Responsibilities

1.      Context & Mission

We are expanding our Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) team in Casablanca to support the APAC (Asia‑Pacific) perimeter, focusing on monitoring, analysing, and managing structured finance exposures within GLBA's CPM function. We are seeking an Experienced Structured Finance Credit Analyst (7+ years) to act as a senior reference and support the team’s development.

2.      Your Responsibilities

Credit Process and Portfolio Management

  • Analyze waivers/amendments and draft recommendations.
  • Coordinate with back office to ensure accurate transaction updates.
  • Perform periodic credit reviews and support rating renewals.
  • Monitor covenants and detect early credit‑quality deterioration.
  • Support Forbearance and UTP (Unlikely to Pay) case follow‑up.
  • Prepare QPR (Quarterly Portfolio Review) watchlist materials and update provisions.
  • Analyze RWA (Risk‑Weighted Assets) / ECL (Expected Credit Loss) movements.
  • Review collateral valuations and track insurance renewals.
  • Contribute to risk, regulatory, ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), and data‑quality reporting.
  • Help identify potentially transferable loans.
  • Support process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Monitor APAC (Asia‑Pacific) sector, macro, regulatory, and geopolitical trends.
  • Produce sector notes and early‑warning insights.
  • Coordinate with ORI (Origination), DCS (Distribution & Credit Solutions), CPM (Credit Portfolio Management), and Asset Light teams.
  • Contribute to balance‑sheet optimization and loan‑transfer actions.
  • Share best practices and support transversal topics/projects.
  • Incorporate ESG considerations into daily portfolio management.
  • Ensure Conduct & Compliance adherence and timely completion of mandatory tasks.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and completeness.

Provides expert support to management, acting as the primary credit reference within the team

  • Lead and upskill the team by training juniors, reviewing their work, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
  • Strengthen processes and controls through procedure updates, training design, operational controls, and oversight of key reports.
  • Drive strategic initiatives by contributing to major cross‑functional and regulatory projects across GLBA/CPM.

Profile required

A. Education

  • Master’s degree from a Business School, Engineering School, or University specializing in Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, or related disciplines.
  • CFA (completed or in progress) is a plus.

B. Experience

At least 7 years of credit analysis experience in a sector or risk department.

C. Technical Skills

  • Strong financial‑analysis and modeling capabilities, including sensitivity and stress‑testing.
  • Understanding of structured‑finance mechanisms and the loan lifecycle (risk monitoring, provisioning, workout).
  • Ability to review and interpret loan documentation (loan agreements, security packages, covenants).
  • Familiarity with APAC sector trends and risk dynamics.
  • Awareness of key regulatory and conduct requirements.

D. Soft Skills

  • Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and strong sense of alert.
  • Team‑oriented with excellent communication skills in multicultural environments.
  • Proactive, dynamic, responsive, and able to work autonomously.

E. Languages

Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
