The Structured Finance Middle Office division plays a key role in the success of SG CIB’s activities.
Our teams work closely with major market players (international clients, banks, clearing houses, regulators ...). They ensure the quality and reliability of the operations that the bank executes on behalf of clients around the world, in compliance with international regulations and the highest ethical standards.

As a Vice President / Associate within the Structured Finance Middle Office team, you will be responsible for the operational management and execution of transactions originated by SG business lines across Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing and overseeing the closing process for Structured Finance transactions originated by SG business lines in Madrid, Lisbon, Frankfurt, Milan and London
Coordinating the deal flow across the Middle Office team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, prioritization of transactions and timely execution of all closing milestones
Acting as a key point of contact between Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and support functions throughout the transaction lifecycle
Performing and supervising the setup, modelling and parametrization of transactions within the LoanIQ platform, ensuring accurate implementation of all contractual and operational features
Conducting detailed pre-closing assessments of proposed transaction structures, validating their operational feasibility and ensuring alignment with SG standards, internal procedures and market practices
Reviewing and validating:
The feasibility of transaction documentation prior to signing, in accordance with LMA standards
The operational implementation of financing structures within LoanIQ
The consistency of transaction terms with SG's internal policies and operating framework
Monitoring transactions after closing, including amendments, restructurings and other lifecycle events
Ensuring timely communication and escalation to Back Office teams in Paris, Warsaw and Bangalore regarding transaction features, operational specificities and processing requirements
Participating in regular coordination meetings with business lines and stakeholders across Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom
Leading and coordinating operational and strategic projects impacting Structured Finance activities, systems and processes
Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, central teams in Paris and other relevant support functions to ensure seamless transaction execution
Profile required
Studies & experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
4–6 years of experience in Structured Finance Middle Office, Loan Administration or Transaction Management
Language skills:
Spanish: C1
English: C1
Other European languages would be considered an asset
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Strong expertise in Structured Finance products, financing structures and syndicated loan transactions
Proven expert knowledge of LoanIQ, including transaction setup, modelling, parametrization and lifecycle event management
Solid understanding of LMA documentation standards and loan market practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
High attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a demanding international environment and collaborate with multicultural teams
