Responsibilities

As an  Accounting & Reporting Team Leader in Finance Division, you will lead one of the teams specialised in accounting closing, reconciliations and controls, SG Group reporting under IFRS, Statutory reporting in line with local regulations. You will be responsible for: managing team members and their developement, close communication with our Clients on objectives and performance monitoring,  allign with other departments in priorities,  projects and  transformation innitiatives.

Specifically, you will be required to:

People management

  • Coach, mentor, guide and oversight a team of 8-12 persons;
  • Ensure the recruitment of the necessary resources for service delivery according to Service Level Agreements;
  • Define skill matrix for the team members and monitor their development to support a positive employee experience and proper career path;
  • Animate/organize information sharing meetings and workshops on mutualising best practices with different stakeholders in SG Group;
  • Conduct yearly performance review of team members and propose annual training needs to Manager;
  • Capacity planning and projects roadmap; anticipate the peaks of activity and ensure adequate allocation of tasks per each contributor.

Manage Team Performance

  • Responsible for the on-boarding of new members in the team, including the knowledge-transfer .
  • Ensure that processes and deliverables are properly documented, fairly allocated and KPIs defined;
  • Responsible for the proper implementation set-up in case of new services;
  • Clients & partners’ (including external auditors) requests are addressed on a timely manner;
  • Participate to solve  Team’s issues and raise alerts to the Management;
  • Be the first level of escalation for the Coordinators;
  • Ensure Action Plans are monitored for implementation in case of remediations and performance improvement needs.

Be an agent of transformation

  • Support improvement, simplification and automation of processes across the team and share best practices with partners;
  • Participate to projects impacting the team and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Contribute to implement the local strategy.

Profile required

  • 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in  managing teams (preferably from GBS domain), with a focus on risk management and people development; 
  • 4 – 5 years in Finance departments;
  • graduate of Academy of Economic Studies, preferably Finance/Accounting/Banking or Polytechnic;
  • ACCA certification, would be a plus;
  • Proven experience on transformation projects & digital innovation abilities;
  • Advanced level of English, French would be a plus;
  • Very good communication skills, ability to build and maintain stakeholders relationship on all levels.
