Responsibilities

The role of Finance Level 2 Control Team Leader (2yrs determined period) is one with good perspective in terms of finance risk analysis, internal control, and people management.

 What responsibilities will you have?

  • Responsible for managing the associated team in accordance with the direction and strategic processes of the business line and of the department, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the related activities in its perimeter and make sure that all the KPI are respected.
  • Prepares risk assessment for the annual control plan and ensure planning and assignment of level 2 missions to controllers.
  • Monitors the accomplishment of the control plan established for the team and that the level 2 controls recommendations are followed up.
  • Provides guidance for dealing with questions / requests regarding processes in its area, ensures their efficient and effective resolution.
  • Provides operational assistance to team members, ensuring a fair distribution of tasks.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports for auditors or stakeholders and participation to different committees (quarterly KPIs committees, Audit, and Internal Control Committees, etc.).
  • Understands the control methodology of design, execution and testing for a correct interpretation of restitution reports.
  • Creates a culture of risk monitoring within the managed team.
  • Managing team members in terms of performance evaluation and personal development.
  • Manages the quality of the services delivered and manages the relationship and communication with the partners.
  • Contributes together with the hierarchical superior to the definition of the department strategy;
  • Support, develop and encourage digitalization initiatives through the promotion of Automation solutions and through interactions with Data lab.

Profile required

What qualities make you the right person for this role?

  • Previous experience in financial audit/internal controls, regulatory reporting, team leading (will be a plus).
  • Strong planning and organizational skills – ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to lead under different conditions, make critical decisions and problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong audit posture and ability to reinforce messages according to risks identified.
  • Knowledge of English (B2) and French (min B1).
  • Results oriented, resilience, high flexibility, and adaptability.
