Responsibilities

 You will join the ISR/RBS team (Retail Banking Security department for French entities), within ISR division in charge of Information Security and Risk for Société Générale Group.

 We are recruiting a new Data Engineer tech lead for our cybersecurity application, internal Big Data platform (Cloudera) responsible with the eFraud detection. The mission is to develop and maintain the data infrastructure, to anticipate and prevent the incidents on the fraud detection.

What you will do:

  • Carry out Bigdata project developments to meet eFraud business needs and technical needs (perform end-to-end testing by defining test scenarios and documenting defects, carry out code reviews and deployment in production);
  • Lead and supervise the quality of the developments of the data engineer team, search for optimal technical solutions, take care of the training of newcomers and less experienced resources;
  • Lead the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and data visualization tools;
  • Monitor and resolve data pipeline and data infrastructure performance issues;
  • Anticipate, prevent and is a key player regarding production incident management (investigation, coordination, communication assistance) and more generally make its domain reliable;
  • Implement a strategy to reduce technical debt on its perimeter, improve security, ensure decommissioning of unused resources;
  • Develop and maintain data documentation with the help of the team and governance processes to ensure Groupe rules and compliance.

Profile required

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience (development activities, PROD follow-up, team leading activities);
  • Mandatory technical skills: HDFS, HBASE, Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Cloudera, CI/CD, Jira, Elasticsearch;
  • Nice to have control-M, Yarn, Kafka;
  • English – Advanced;
  • French - Intermediate;
  • Soft Skills: leadership, team development and management, be proactive in solution proposition, be thorough on respecting planning commitments and reporting.
