Technical Lead - BackOffice
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the architectural vision and strategy for back-office systems
- Lead the modernization initiatives of legacy systems ensuring integration with model ERP and satellite systems
- Collaborate with business stake holders to understand requirements and translate them to scalable architectural solutions
- Work with product, engineering and business teams to build appropriate business cases for change
- Design and implement integration strategies between back-office solutions and satellite systems
- Ensure a common end to end understanding of a solution – upstream and downstream flows and impacts
- Ensure the non-functional architecture aspects are part of a solution design - performance , reliability and security
- Define and oversee interfaces and interoperability with a solution architecture
- Define best practices and guidelines for system design, development and deployment
- Work closely with IT leadership , business teams, product teams and external vendors to ensure smooth system operations
- Guide development teams in best practices for software development and integration
- Maintain the relevant information in Enterprise Architecture Repositories
Profile required
Technical
- Experience with ERP and business critical solutions
- Experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF & Zachman
- Proficiency in .NET technologies ,Web API, and Cloud based solutions
- Expertise with system integration approaches such as APIs, ETL, messaging queues etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such Azure or AWS is a plus
- Experience with Microservices and monolithic architecture.
- Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres.
- Strong understanding of, and experience of working with, security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR
General
- Experience with documenting and presenting solutions to peers and stakeholders
- Experience with strategic business change and migration programs
- Experience in working across multi-disciplinary teams
