Technical Lead (Bernstein Institutional Services LLC, New York, NY)


Responsibilities
Design and implement business applications, such as Revenue Management, Sales Enablement, and workflow automation; Coordinate and prioritize development activities across global teams using Agile best practices; Comply with development best practices including source code control, defect tracking, while adhering to firmwide SDLC policies; Support, maintain, and document application functionality, software testing and quality assurance; Lead design, code reviews and project planning; Track all ongoing projects and communicate their status in a timely manner to stakeholders; and Maintain communication and respond to support requests. Telecommuting is permitted up to two days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Bernstein Institutional Services LLC, 245 Park Ave, New York, NY 10167. Salary: $179,982-$200,000 per year.
Profile required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Technical Developer, or any occupation/position/job title involving hands on software development.
Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Agile software development methodologies; 5 years of professional experience developing applications using Microsoft.NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, .NET CORE, WebForm and MVC; 5 years of professional experience integrating applications using API and developing Web Services for use by other applications; 5 years of professional experience in data modelling, database design and development using technology including Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, Sybase or Postgres; 5 years of professional experience implementing application development improvements using release planning, testing and quality reviews, automated release management; 5 years of professional experience utilizing JIRA and Jenkins or GitHub; and 3 years of professional experience developing applications using JS frameworks including React, Angular or Bootstrap.
