• Basics of Spring Framework and Spring Boot

• Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented. • Would be great if worked on Agile or Continuous Delivery (CD) based projects  before.

• Good in Object Oriented design & Design patterns

• Should have exposure to Oracle SQL. Any other DB apart from Oracle is also fine, provided the fundamentals of RDBMS are clear. Good to have experience in writing Sqls, stored procedures and functions.

• Experience in creating & executing unit tests using test driven approach with JUnit or any other equivalent.

• Basics of Webservices and Linux

• Exposure to Agile Practices.

Job Description

•    Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance financial applications and platforms for investment banking.
•    Work across the full technology stack: front-end, back-end, middleware, database, and integration with enterprise systems.
•    Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, design, and architectural patterns, ensuring robustness and maintainability.
•    Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and global stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical 
       solutions.
•    Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, offering mentorship, code review, and guidance on complex problem-solving.
•    Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
•    Optimize application performance, security, and reliability, particularly for high-volume banking systems.
•    Take ownership of end-to-end development lifecycles: design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
•    Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick turnaround for critical banking applications.
•    Work closely with QA and DevOps teams for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

Technical Skills Required

•    Strong expertise in Core Java / Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
•    Proficiency in front-end frameworks: Angular/React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
•    Experience with databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent (ability to write complex queries, stored procedures,      performance tuning).
•    Solid knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ).
•    Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
•    Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git, or equivalent.
•    Strong focus on application security in a banking domain context.
•    Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management.
•    Understanding of investment banking Domain is a plus.
