TMT Coverage Banker
Responsibilities
- To grow business in China through establishing strong relationships with Chinese corporate clients and their foreign subsidiaries, bring them SG expertise and banking products to meet their needs.
- To complete the ambitious strategy and budget shared by business lines and provide essential support to the corporate clients’ growth initiative globally.
- To grow banking business by both deepening the penetration in existing client’s wallet and selectively acquiring new clients with good credit to enrich the portfolio. Identify cross-selling opportunities on all prospects and existing clients on MARK/GLBA/GTPS products and collaborated with the respective product sales to win the mandate.
- To grow and maintain deep knowledge of target industries (e.g., TMT, Healthcare, Industrials, Energy, Consumer, FIG) and relevant market dynamics. provide insights and thought leadership to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end execution of high-profile transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, follow-ons, convertible bonds, leveraged finance, and other structured products. Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, documentation, and regulatory processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, compliance, risk, operations) and external advisors to ensure timely and seamless execution. Ensure all activities adhere to firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Close monitoring existing client portfolio to flag and react to early warning signals on deterioration of counterparty risk and operational risks.
- Other ad hoc tasks / relevant responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Profile required
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred. CFA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- At least 10 years of relevant corporate & investment banking experience, prior experience in a top-tier global investment bank, worked for TMT business is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and corporate finance theory.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet).
- Fluency in English required; additional language skills are advantageous depending on region.

Department Description
Responsible for increasing the corporate customer base, strengthening the interaction with existing customers, and providing customers with creative value-added products and services that are distinct from their competitors. At the same time, on the basis of comprehensive consideration of customer demand and overall risk/return assessment of the bank, recommend and design appropriate products and solutions for the customer.
