Responsibilities
Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is an expanding part of the SG Warsaw Branch. We are looking for a Trade Confirmation Officer to join our team. If you’re interested in a role that offers both challenges and opportunities for professional growth, we encourage you to apply.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Confirming transaction presence and validating their economic characteristics
Managing the confirmation lifecycle, from identifying Front Office trades to selecting and negotiating document templates with counterparties
Liaising with counterparties to ensure compliance with follow-up and escalation procedures
Analyzing legal and economic terms in incoming documents to ensure consistency
Resolving discrepancies by collaborating with Middle Office, Front Office, Legal, and clients
Drafting and updating operational procedures and performing periodic controls
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You are fluent in English; communicative knowledge of French is a strong asset
You have professional experience in banking or financial services
You possess experience with FX option trades (strong asset)
You have practical knowledge of SWIFT messages used for confirmation purposes
You understand capital market principles and standard confirmation processes
You combine strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can effectively manage tasks under time pressure
You hold a university degree
