Trader Non Core

Your daily tasks will be:

Within the EGB trading desk, we are looking for a junior EGB non-core trader (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece) whose responsibilities will be as follows:

Market making for institutional clients and hedge funds as well as on the interbank market, participation in auctions

Risk management (monitoring and control) within the framework of a market making book

Development of monitoring and analysis tools to identify and exploit curve distortions, relative value spreads, and statistical correlations between different market segments

Research and proposal of trading strategies to be applied within the desk’s scope

Active participation in the development of the desk’s algorithmic trading tool

Junior profile, you hold a degree from a top engineering school

Experience in market finance is a plus

Comfortable in a demanding, functional, and international environment

Fluent English is essential; French, Italian, Spanish are a plus

Skills required for the position:

Strong programming knowledge (Python, VBA)

Solid mathematical and statistical background

Ability to work autonomously

Willingness to learn, progress, and quickly take on responsibilities

Ability to take initiative and innovate in a highly competitive and evolving environment
