Trader Support Unit Repo
Responsibilities

TSU positions are an integral part of the Middle Office Team, which will strengthen the efficiency and processing of the group to support the Front Office business line. Middle Office Trade Support will process the activity of the various desks including Money Markets, Repo Financing, Municipals, U.S. Governments, Corporate Bonds, Global Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate and Credit Derivative Products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direct support of several Repo desks including US Treasury, Corporate and Emerging Market Bonds, ABP in NY.
Main responsibilities: - Deal Capture: enforce controls designed to make sure that executed trades are booked promptly and accurately
- Trade Input/Modifications/Cancellation
- TriParty deal allocations
- Corporate Action monitoring/booking
- Ensure consistency of process with global TSU counterparts
- Resolve Front Office vs. Back Office Trade Breaks
- Keep all procedure manuals current and up to date
- Respond to requests for Audit and Inspection teams
- Responsible for correct static data maintenance
- Liaison between Front Office, Back Office, Product Control Group, and Technology teams globally
- Test system upgrades/enhancements
- Ad Hoc assisting of the traders and salespersons
- Monitoring of the STP processes so that all trades flow to BO systems promptly
- Liaise with Back Office to investigate and resolve fails, DK’s and breaks
Profile required
LANGUAGE:
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
Technical Skills:
Product exposure should include understanding of Fixed Income products (US Treasuries, Agencies, Corporate Bonds and ABP

- Strong communication and partnering skills
Ability to handle various ad-hoc requests in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Qualifications: (Desired/Plus)
- Familiar with Regulatory obligations
- Experience Needed: minimum 1-3 years' experience in Fixed Income Repo
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Economics or equivalent
