Responsibilities

Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is currently looking for a Trading Support Unit. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to further grow your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.  

After negotiating market operations, the Trading Support and Market Operations Follow-Up Officer ensures that transactions are properly integrated into the Information System: input and/or expansion, control, validation. S/he interfaces between the Front Office and all support functions (risks, financial department, etc.) in order to facilitate handling of information requests and problem resolution. S/he intervenes in standard or complex products/information systems/processes.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Recording of transactions, by delegation of the Front Office;
  • Modelling (for complex products);
  • Validation and control;
  • Resolution of problems/interfacing;
  • Management of the position;
  • Improvement of processes;
  • Information systems.

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have higher education in finance/banking;
  • You have knowledge of financial markets and transaction processing procedures and experience in finance area;
  • You have excellent English language skills;
  • You are skilled in office automation tools with knowledge of information systems [Excel, VBA (macro)];
  • You are able to work in a challenging environment requiring a high level of responsiveness;
  • You have very strong sensitivity to operational risks and priority management skills.
