Responsibilities

Based in Singapore, and reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will work with the Singapore Finance Team who manage the entities in South-East Asia. The staff will support the team in various capacities, working mainly on financial production and financial performance and analysis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform the month-end closing to ensure smooth completion.
  • Prepare control documentation for accounts owned by Finance to ensure all account balances are substantiated.
  • Prepare daily and monthly regulatory reports.
  • Perform in-depth finance analysis and prepare reports for local management and businesses.
  • Support the team for any ad hoc or new initiatives/ ideas to improve the deliverables which includes digitalization through analytics tools or automation.

Profile required

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance preferred. Fresh graduates/Recent graduates with less than 1 year of experience welcome to apply
  • CA accreditation preferred
  • Internship experience in the banking and finance industry or large institutions is ideal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Experience in programming or basic coding or relevant vendor solution like PowerBI and Alteryx
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong eye for details
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
