Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Financial Institutions (“FI”) Banker of Global Transaction Banking, Trade Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for Front office Sales & Marketing activities and customer service to a portfolio of Financial Institutions (Banks) clients in Asia.

The responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

  • Supporting the front office activities of the FI Trade Finance business.
  • Communicating with FI clients to facilitate Trade Finance transactions.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders in Operations, Legal, Compliance, Relationship Managers in Head office and overseas offices to deliver quality support. 
  • Preparing monthly reports, business analysis and presentation books for Trade Finance business.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Maintain regular contact with FI clients and establish good working relationship with clients
  • Collaborate with global Trade teams to work on business opportunities from banks in the portfolio and follow up to ensure smooth execution of deals
  • Ensure a prompt and competitive reply to all transactions proposed by clients, within the guidelines established by the business line

Customer Service:

  • Handle clients’ inquiries related to Trade Services to help them solve operation issues and making sure every inquiry will be taken care within stipulated turnaround time
  • Provide first level of customer support for clients in the portfolio and liaise with Trade Services teams across the bank’s Trade network to ensure efficient replies and resolution to all customer enquiries
  • Assist global Trade teams in the settlement of operational issues arising with FI banks in portfolio
  • Assist in Know-Your-Customers (“KYC”) requests of clients in portfolio and liaison with internal KYC teams

Profile required

Academic Background And Certifications, Experience:

  • We welcome candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher and encourage recent graduates to apply.
  • Basic understanding of Trade Finance & previous working/internship experience in financial industry is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for fostering effective teamwork.
  • We seek individuals with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications to support our team’s success
  • Attention to detail, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, is highly appreciated.
  • We value integrity, initiative, and resourcefulness, as these qualities support independent and proactive contributions.
