Trainee
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Board of Directors. This role offers exposure to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and board operations in a dynamic and international environment.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of board and committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and meeting materials
- Support the drafting, formatting, and distribution of board and committee papers, resolutions, and minutes
- Assist in information disclosure tasks, including coordination of periodic reports and board presentations
- Support communication between board members, senior management, and relevant departments
- Support shareholder management matters, including coordination with the sole shareholder, performance assessments, and preparation of shareholder-related documentation
- Assist in directors’ and supervisors’ performance assessment processes, including data collection, documentation, and coordination
- Support the maintenance and update of the Articles of Association (AOA) to ensure consistency with company laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards
- Assist in regulatory application and filing processes for directors, including qualification submissions and preparation of related documentation for supervisory authorities
- Support regulatory reporting and ongoing efforts to ensure the bank’s governance framework remains aligned with company laws, regulatory requirements, SG Code, and industry best practices
- Perform other tasks related to corporate governance and corporate-level management as assigned
Provide support for tasks related to ESG, Business Strategy, Market Intelligence, and Public Affairs.
Profile required
- Master degree in Law, International Politics,International Relations,English Language, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Familiarity with company law, and have basic understandings of banking regulations, and corporate governance and ability to support regulatory compliance and documentation processes
- Strong skills in business writing and financial data analysis
- Excellent English Written/ Presentation skills
- Familiarity with AI tools for efficiency and analysis is preferred
- Good skills of Excel/Powerpoint tools, sense of system
- Favorable professional ethics, integrity, morality and reputation, good compliance record
