The trainee role will have a direct reporting line to the Head of Credit Risk for SGLB.

The role is to assist the credit risk team of SGLB in maintaining and enhancing a portfolio view of the credit risks generated by SGLB’s activities. This entails producing regular management reports including key credit risk metrics and dealflow tracking, to be used by the SGLB Risk Management Committee, SGLB RISQ management or SGLB Executive Management. Regular management reports will be supplemented by ad hoc analyses as required, covering specific parts of the portfolio (Business Lines, Sectors etc.) or as part of stress testing.

  • Liaise as required with other RISQ/UK staff members and other SGLB teams to deliver on objectives
  • Support the credit risk team in the enhancement/automation of the different reports and tools
  • Assist the credit risk team in the preparation of presentations dedicated to credit risk topics
  • After a period of training, the candidate will be expected to reach a level of autonomy that enables independent and accurate production of the various reports within scope of the SGLB credit risk team.
  • Responsibility and commitment to perform tasks to a high standard
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in parallel
  • Strong analytical skills and rigorous attention to detail
  • Confidence in building relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority
