TRAINEE: Listed Distribution Sales
Responsibilities
Work closely with Trading, Structuring, and other internal and external partners to build and grow our listed structured products business
Support the Product Lifecycle Events including new product issuances, market-driven events, corporate action and regulatory reporting operations
Evaluate the product workflow and performance metrics to establish processes and business insights to drive distribution of our products
Coordinate with Operations, Legal & Compliance, and IT teams on workflow enhancements and daily operational processes
Leverage in-house applications to monitor and analyse market data, to assist in distribution and reporting of the listed structured products
Manage content and participate in new initiatives relating to the product websites
Assist with production of sales and marketing materials for listed structured products
Assist with responding to investors’ enquiries in relation to our listed structured products
Assist with handling the administrative workflows related to marketing spend and service arrangements
Profile required
Hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or similar
Be able to fulfill the requirements to obtain SFC Type 1 License after onboarding
Demonstrated experience in working with data and producing business insights
Interest in, or good understanding of digital marketing and the use of AI in a business context
Familiarity with basic coding, VBA, Python will be considered an advantage
Good project management, organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently, and be adaptable to change
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin are mandatory
Passion for financial markets and keen to stay up-to-date with industry trend and developments
Demonstrate a proactive, integrity-driven data protection and compliance mindset

This is a fixed term 24 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Department Description
The listed distribution team is renowned as a leading issuer in Asia’s listed structured products market. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the sales and marketing efforts for our listed products to retail investors in Hong Kong and Singapore. In this position, you will provide support to various sales related tasks, including product issuances and marketing. Your close collaboration with sales and traders on the trading floor will ensure seamless execution of our strategies.
