Trainee - Market Risk Management
Responsibilities

Société Générale is looking for a talented and motivated Trainee to join our Market Risk Management team. What You’ll Do
Analyse and validate risk metrics and Profit & Loss for market activities.
Develop and maintain cutting-edge tools using Python and Excel to support risk analysis.
Work alongside traders to understand market dynamics and their impact on risk.
Contribute to regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with risk limits.
Participate in stress testing and scenario analysis to strengthen risk frameworks.
Extract insights from data to help detect trends and potential risks.
Communicate key findings to senior management in a clear and concise way.
Profile required
What We’re Looking For
A Master’s degree in financial mathematics, quantitative finance, or a related technical field.
Strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of fixed income products, derivatives, and swaps.
Proficiency in Python and advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and tool development.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
A proactive learner with a passion for risk management and financial markets.
