About the Role:
As a Trainee in our Financial Institutions Group M&A team, you will gain hands-on experience working on mergers and acquisitions across multiple financial subsectors and geographies. You will be involved in all aspects of deal origination and execution, including industry and company research, quantitative analysis, valuation, financial modelling, and preparing client presentations. This role offers a unique chance to develop a well-rounded perspective of global financial services within a supportive, high-performing team.

Profile required

What We Are Looking For:

  • University graduate with internship or work experience in corporate finance, accountancy, or financial services

  • Genuine interest in banks, insurance, exchanges, and other financial industry subsectors

  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong communication skills; articulate, corporate, and well-presented

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive team player

  • DACH and CEE language skills are highly advantageous
