The Trainee role is a full time 24-month contract with Societe Generale where you will have access to a diverse range of training materials to help you succeed, covering various aspects of businesses, including but not limited to technical skills, leadership development, communication skills, client service and relationship management. To be eligible, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of Trainee contract.
- Assist the Lawyers in the Legal team in respect of structured debt issues on all underlying's including equities, commodities, fixed income and credit (for
- Asia Pacific - Ex Japan) for SG group and client issuers.
- Review and draft documentation and arranging execution of the above transactions and matters.
- Assist with related processes and reporting.
- Contact relevant internal stakeholders as appropriate.
Profile required
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree holder in Law or Finance is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Previous experience in financial services sector/ derivatives/ structured products is an advantage.
- Interested in derivatives/ structured products.
- Attention to details and conscientious.
- English language skills are essential. Chinese language skills are an advantage.

This is a fixed term 24-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Department Description
The Legal Division serves a risk mitigation function within the Group and defines the norms, standards, procedures and controls associated with the legal risk framework, regardless of the line of defense in which such legal risk issues arise. The Legal Division provides independent legal advice within the Group, and, among its roles, it identifies, assesses, analyses and mitigates legal risk issues within the Group.
